Malaysia’s First Industrial Development Fund, AIDF I With its first fund, AIDFI, AREA wants to address the lack of high quality industrial real estate assets in Malaysia. The fund’s mandate is to build industrial and logistics assets with a focus on Malaysia over the next 3 years Malaysia’s first Industrial Development Fund, AIDFI, was closed on 13 July 2015 and has a Fund size of USD150m.

  • The fund’s mandate is to build high quality industrial and logistics assets with a focus on Malaysia over the next 3 years. The portfolio would comprise industrial buildings and parks, built-to-sell and built-to lease assets.

  • AIDF-1 provides investors and tenants with high quality well located real estate assets across Malaysia in Greater Klang Valley, Johor and Penang. The goal is to provide end users with a network of well positioned warehouses and factories, be it airside logistics parks, seaport bonded warehouses, outer city warehouses or in-cit distribution centres.

  • This portfolio will also provide services to a diverse range of customers across industries, such as e-commerce, logistics, consumer goods and manufacturing etc.
